How the jackpot works
Who can play
Holders only. You need at least one ZEROS in your wallet to submit a solution.
That is the whole point of holding one now that the mint is over.
What you are mining
keccak256(seed ‖ your address ‖ nonce) — the same preimage the mint
used. Your address is inside the hash, so a solution mined for somebody else is
worthless to you, and yours is worthless to them.
Who wins
The single best solution of the round, not the most work. Hashes are compared by
their numeric value — smaller is better — so every improvement counts, not just
whole leading zeros.
How the round ends
Every record restarts a 10-minute quiet window. Beat the
record and the clock restarts for everyone. When nobody beats it, the last record
standing takes the pot. There is no fixed end time.
Multipliers
Each ZEROS you hold: +1%, up to +1000%. Each boost purchase:
+5%, up to +1000%. A multiplier means exactly what it says — your hash is
counted as that much smaller, which is the honest equivalent of that much more
hashrate.
The boost is permanent
Bought once, it works in this round and every future one. It never expires and
never resets. Maxing it out costs 0.2 ETH, which is more than a single pot — it
pays off across a series of rounds, not in one. Decide on that basis.
Where the money goes
Half of every boost purchase goes straight into the jackpot you are competing
for; the other half is the dev's. The pot itself lives in the contract — not in
anyone's wallet — and claim() is permissionless, so the winner gets
paid even if we disappear.
What we cannot do
Touch the pot of a live round. The owner can withdraw boost revenue and nothing
else. The seed comes from a future block hash announced in advance, so nobody —
including us — knows it before everyone else.
